Septic pulmonary embolism connected with Klebsiella infection in a patient with ASD operation previously

Septic pulmonary embolism is an uncommon but well-known diagnosis in which a microorganism-containing thrombus. Thrombus causesan inflammatory reaction and mechanical obstruction the pulmonary vasculature. Thrombophlebitis which is proceed from tonsillar, jugular, dental and pelvic area with right heart endocarditis is diagnosed. Septic pulmonary embolism diagnosed source of primary infection and tipical BT signs at most of patients. Clinical presentations are mild respiratory deficiency and septic shock signs. Differential diagnosis are important because of syptoms are non-spesific. However patients who require intensive care unit with septic pulmonary embolism must be evaluation fussily and must be bring to mind pulmonary embolism. Therefore aim of this study is to elucidate the patogens, clinical spectrums and radyological scanning of patients with septic pulmonary embolism.
İn this study, we presented patient with subileus prediagnosis took into intensive care unit because of suddenly respiratory problems occured. She had sepsis diagnosis but advanced investigation showed septic pulmonary embolism was occured and we planned treatment for septic pulmonary embolism.
